I'd start looking at other programs/software that you're running. They eventually squashed the bug by the time things rolled out to Beta testing. I tried multiple different drivers at the request of GoG, but the issue remained. Turn the software off, the GPU went back to idle speeds and power draw. Same thing would happen when the program was running, my clock speeds would be running 3D clocks. Starting the software up again caused my clocks to run 3d clocks (high clocks, like I was gaming).Ģnd time I came across this issue was when GoG Galaxy 2.0 was out for alpha testing. Stopping the software allowed my GPU to run at 2D clocks (idle speeds). I've had two different programs cause problems with something similar in the past.ġst time I came into the issue that my 980Ti was constantly running at high clocks and power draw was due to the Razer Synapse software. What other software are you running? I'd start looking at other things that are forcing your GPU to run at high clocks. ![]()
